Great smoke as usual. The draw was slightly tight so made a larger cut. It burned evenly up till half way but then caught up. Had a strong punch throughout the whole cigar and almost got light headed at one point. Great cigar for a full body taste.

Not too sure how I should rate this. Wasn't my favorite, but I don't have the palate to really describe in full what I was experiencing. i enjoyed the mild flavor of the cigar, though it was a bit large for me. Probably wouldn't buy again till a later date because I have a few more to go through. Overall: Mild flavor, a bit more woody than I prefer, and a bit too large for my liking. ***Further Research Required.*** My next cigar I will be more aware of things to better rate this for myself.

Too long for me.

Love this smoke. Smooth and tasty. Creamy notes with a mild to medium overtone.
60
The taste is awful
85
Great little cigar, filled in admirably when the first selection was a dog rocket =)
70
Was a great cigar, too bad the thing was cracked nearly in half =/
91
Very tightly rolled, few veins, pleasant but very mild smell. Almost no flavor but occasional whiffs of a smoky nutty smell. Easy to light but burned quite unevenly. Required frequent touch-ups. Moderate amount of smoke. Almost no after taste. For a $15.50 cigar I suppose I expected a lot more. It was a very nice smoke and I enjoyed it a lot, but for $15.50, I don’t feel it quite rose to the price. Price, no real flavor and uneven burn is where it got the deductions. No aftertaste or nicotine buzz really made me want to get more of these cigars, but the price is not justifiable to me.
93
I'm not sure if I just love the size of this cigar or everything about it. If I didn't know any better I'd say the tip of this cigar is sweetened but its isn't. the smoke out of this cigar is very sweet and delicious. Top 5 smoke for me.

Nice mild cigar

*Torpedo* -Prelight- This cigar is very oily in appearance with a firm feel and a good weight. The wrapper is pretty nice with one medium sized vein making it's way along the length of the cigar. It is a but lumpy looking, but not anything major. Taking a good whiff of the foot was very spicy, in fact I sneezed a few times, it was nice. *Having a 12 year Macallan with it.* -=1/3=- About a inch and 15 mintues in and it's been all spice until just now I tasted some licorice and it was a bit mellower. -=2/3=- Right off the bat I get another hint of licorice off the tail end of a draw exhaled through my nose. Most of the pepper blast has faded now and I am getting more of a spice like herbal maybe, I've always had a difficult time describing this aroma but I think it's what some people call earthy. No more licorice yet, dangit... Nice and creamy spicy with some plenty of full bodied punch. I have a bit of a buzz off this smoke, or it could just be that I live in Texas and it's like 90 degrees in my garage. Also having a bit of a hard time keeping it lit in this 90% humidity. Ash is pretty firm dropping off about 1" 1/2 in. -=3/3=-

I have smoked plenty of these sticks now and overall I'm pretty disappointed with the sticks. I think mainly I am disappointed by the hype associated with the namesake of Graycliff. These Sticks have a decent amount of coffee/espresso notes, but very one dimensional. I have not had any burn problems with any of them however the draw has been pretty wide open which I dislike, and the ash is pretty girly and generally doesn't last more than an inch at a time.
92
This is actually a Maduro Nub but I added it as the habano due to the missing Maduro from the list. This was an absolutely wonderful smoke. I have tried all of the other varieties of Nub and found them all to be very lacking in the flavor department. Construction is top notch , burn and draw fantastic, and flavor was loads of coffee and sweet creaminess.
92
This is a spicy and very robust smoke. I loved the flavors, very complex with a little cedar and toasty earthiness. This is a review written months after i smoked my last one. I'll redo it on my next stick.
96
Easily one of my top 5 favorite smokes to date. If I didn't know any better I'd lay claim that this cigar had an almost unnoticeably sweetened tip, and the cigar was maybe one f the creamiest sweetest cigars I have ever smoked, aside from flavored smokes of course.
95
Delicious smoke, was a combination of DPG Blue and DPG cuban Classic.
98
Again the Liga Privada shows it's greatness. Flawless wrapper construction, scents of cocoa from the wrapper and foot with a perfect draw. Smooth smoke with no uneven burning. Nothing new I could add except that it smokes consistently great.

Great smelling cigar and while I normally do not like Maduros, I had high hopes on this one since I really loved the NUB maduro. First of all it lit easily but the draw was almost like pulling on a garden hose. I had clipped it close to the head but still, the draw was way too easy. The ash started falling off immediately. The flavor was, as with most other maduros I've tried, too strong for me. If I quit puffing it went out quickly and burned very unevenly. I had to relight several times which is something I normally do not do. When a cigar goes out I normally toss it, but this thing went out if not puffed on for only a minute. As I smoked it a hollow developed in the center for the first inch and a half of the cigar. When it was burning there was a good amount of smoke but by the time you finished a sentence, the thing was out again. After fighting it for forty-five minutes, multiple relights, and several burns to even it up, I tossed it with only about 2/3 of it smoked. It was more trouble than it was worth. Toward the end the head end was getting spongy and starting to unravel. I was very disappointed in this cigar because it was a beautifully wrapped stick with a terrific smell.
87
Strong smell and tightly rolled with a few veins. Dark in color. Flavor too strong for me. Earthy flavor but strong. Easy lighting and even burn. Lots of smoke but a fairly strong nicotine buzz considering this is a small cigar and only a 30 minute smoke. Too strong for me and while if you like a small and strong cigar you would love this but I won't be trying a second.
94
601 Blue is fantstic. This is a full bodied cigar and boxed pressed which normally im no a fan of but this cigar changed that. Very rich and creamy flavor and burns very well. The wrapper is dark and and no veins literally. I ove this cigar, its smooth and the ash holds up. You wont be disappointed
83
This is not a bad stick and not one that I would buy a box of. This is medium bodied and very one demensional meaning the flavor doesnt change at all. Burned a little uneven but held an ash. The aroma was also pretty good and strong as well. The cigar looks very good and not ruff or too veiny. I was a little disappointed.
96
San Cristobal is one of my favs. Distributed by Ashton and blended by Don Peppin Garcia. This cigar is delicious. The wrapper on the cigar is chocolate color very oily as well, which I like. Full bodied and complex, but consistant flavour that doesnt change. Burns evenly and has a nice white ash. This cigar is definatley worth the price.
50
OK, Altais needs to get rid of there playboy line. These cigars are horrible. Made by Don Deigo, and his whole line should be discontinued as well. Anyways, This cigar is mild but has a little bit more to it than a macanudo, which isnt saying much. The only thing I can say good about this cigar it that it looks good and burns evenly.
88
This is definatly a cigar that I would buy and smoke again, if only it wasnt a small run of these made. This was a medium bodied stick and burned a little uneven but not too bad. Had a great taste to it and the aroma was great off the cigar. AT about 7 bucks is good. This is the first cigar that Rocky has made that fits and is worth the price you pay.
81
Im only rating this an 81 cause its Gurkha. This cigar was medium bodied and was very streamlined. It burned evenly and held an ash. Im not a fan of the ecuadorian conneticut wrapper. Wouldnt buy this cigar or smoke it again. It just didnt do anything for me.
96
This cigar is one of my favorite cigars out there. Made by Drew Estate, and one of the best cigars made. This cigar is dark chocolate color, full bodied and sweet. It has a sweet strong scent to it that I cant depict what it is. Nice thick and creamy smoke. Burned slow and very even. The ash was pearl white and held up pretty well.If you havent had this cigar you need to get it and try it. Its not your typical Drew Estate Cigar.
98
This smoke is very similar to the Connecticut NUB except the ash will fall if allowed to get too long. The smoke was heavy, flavor was mild with no nicotine buzz. Tightly rolled with a few veins. It was easy to light and burned evenly all the way down. The only deduction was the ash had to be kept short or it would fall on its own.
95
Very good smoke and almost the equal to the NUB. Very nicely rolled with a few veins. Gives off a good amount of smoke but not as much as a Connecticut Nub and the ash will fall if not watched, but does not fall easily. It gave no nicotine buzz and had no long lingering aftertaste. Slight earthy smell and flavor but not objectionable at all. Quite an enjoyable smoke all in all.
70
Decent smoke for a $1.25. Wrapper is dark with many veins, wrapper is tight but ash falls easily. Moderate amount of smoke and gives mild nicotine buzz which I don't care for. This is a good cigar to offer your visitors who will want to smoke with you but do not smoke cigars regularly or smoke machine rolled drug store quality cigars. I hate to be greedy or snobbish but why waste a $5 cigar on what really amounts to a non-smoker.

87
Very nice wrapper, full body smell, veins present but rolled in a very distinctive pattern. Flavor was indefinable and smoke was on the light side. No nicotine buzz and while strong smelling, it is very mild. Burn was even, easy to light but ash fell too easily. It was a nice enjoyable smoke but I do not like the ash falling so easily and the paucity of smoke is what caused me to rate it lower.
91
I haven't had a Nub in a while. Construction looked great and smelled nice. Lit it up and took about 2 minutes before the taste started coming in. Very simple favor which is what I was in the mood for at the time with my Heinkien. About half way in the wrapper started to come off just slightly and I believe I hit a knot because twice in the same spot it did with 3 minutes of relighting. Besides that the cigar was great.
93
The best when it comes to a mild-medium smoke. I normally don't smoke many cigars under the medium-full strength but this is one I prefer to smoke. Nice light shade wrapper with great aromas of Spanish cedar. Draw was a little hard but the smoke was flawless. Rolled off the tongue like a dream and the retro hale was even better. Smoked it till the tips of my fingers almost got burnt.
88
Construction was done well, just for the cigar slightly uneven for the second half. Nice white ash and a near perfect draw. Probably a Gurkha I won't always pick up first, but still not a third stringer either.
90
I love these things! Construction was excellent with a strong, robust taste. Started burning a little hot towards the end of the smoke but still a great cigar.
86
Pre-Light---Nicely rolled cigar that really looks like it is to be an awesome smoke. Very short and compact cigar. Very small veins and the feel were some what tight. I snipped it and noted a slight tingling to the tip of the tongue. Pre- draw had a bit of coca and cedar. The draw was clean and clear also. After I toasted the foot and my first puff seemed to be taste of tobacco and cedar. Really nice smoke coming off as well. Taste-- The taste of spice was very present and the hints of coca present. All threw the cigar was a nice flow of cocoa, cedar and hints of leather were present. The ash held very well and the color was mixed with both light and dark gray marbling. I would rate this as a good cigar that was medium to full at times. Very good cigar for the price.
96
Pre-Light---The look of the cigar was a nice dark brown wrapper and a very nicely rolled cigar. The band looked nice with the wrapper. No prominent veins but did have a few smaller ones. The feel was tight and the smell of the wrapper was of cedar and tobacco and I knew would pair very well with my morning cup of coffee. I cut the head of at the shoulders and the pre-draw was of spice and tobacco and was clean. Taste—I heated the foot and gave it a good toasting and my first taste were spicy and leathery. Man what a very good smoke this is starting out to be. I let the heat settle and took a few more draws and everyone was better than the one before. I really like this cigar. After I reached the half way mark the intense coffee and leather started. A great cigar so far. No burn issues also. I finished this to the nub and wanted more. The price was a bit more than what I would expect to pay but would do it again. This is one of the better cigars in my book. From the look, taste and over all review of it was stellar. I would enjoy having a box sit for a couple of years.
94
Pre-Light--The appearance is a stellar one with the nice Barbie pole look and the very clean wrapper. These are no longer in production and if you can find them they will cost you. The size of this cigar is one that will take a minute to finish, so plan this one out so you can enjoy and not rush to judgment. The band is very patriotic. The smell of slight tobacco and sweet aroma were very exciting and could not wait to give it a taste. I snipped the cap, very clean cut and the draw was flawless. The flavors were nutty at the pre-draw. Taste----I toasted the foot real good and took my first draw and got a sweet tobacco and slight nutty flavor. The spice and a coffee background was noticed after a few draws and was starting to like it. After the half way mark there were pleasant leathery and now roasted nuts that got my senses going. I could also note some peppery taste coming out at over 2/3 in and knew this would be great if it continued. I had a few areas of concern as the burn was not perfect but did get back on track. The finish was a little bitter with some more leathery taste. The heat was not bad and the flavors are what I like. I only have a couple left and think after a couple years these smokes should be just fine.
85
Pre-Smoke---This was a nice looking cigar that was very dark in color. Had a vein that was prominent and do not fore see any problems. I noticed a nice tobacco smell and went in for the head cut. The cut was clean and draw was perfect, with a slight resistance. Taste---Earthy taste on the draw and started to heat it up. It was lit very well and let it sit as I always do after I torch it. It stated with a sweet tobacco taste that stated some nice spicy flavors coming in behind it. Plenty of smoke. About the ½ way mark I noticed a small flavor change of some coffee and started to get bitter and hot. The burn was off and running as I had to make some corrections to keep it on track. I was not a happy smoker at this point. I let it rest a bit in hopes that it would lose the bitterness. The ash was not looking to well. It finally straightens up but the flavors really stayed the same, Earthy, Sweet, coffee and bitter. I was not very pleased with this smoke as I was with the Crystal Pirates (I Think). That said it was OK but for the price there are many better.
98
A quick pre-light draw gives off a lightly sweet tobacco taste with a hint of leather. It took a minute for a good light but that may be due to the setup of my cc humi. I need to remember to transfer what I am going to smoke at least a week before I enjoy it. As always, a RASS puts out an ample amount of smoke. Immediatley I notice a leathery taste with a slight hint of pepper. An outstanding blend for the palate. Around the second third I noticed the pepper got stronger and a chocolate note appeared. These are the same flavors I found right out of the box, but they have now blended wonderfully and are more refined. The flavors grew stronger by the final third and lasted until I couldn't hold the tiny nub any longer. These are one of my favorites - and for good reason. If you have have never smoked a RASS do yourself a favor and try one. You will be hooked and looking for more before you nub it.
88
Pre-Smoke---This has got to be one of my favorite little smokes after they have plenty of resting time in the box. The longer they sleep the better they get. The look is a very nice looking wrapper and very tightly rolled also. The smell was of cedar. I snipped the head and the pre draw was very nice. The taste of some woodsy notes and spice were present in the pre-draw. The taste of some cedar and pepper were tingling my tongue after the cap was cut. A very clean cut also. Taste—I get some cedar, spice and slight pepper from the start that mellowed a bit until the half way mark. It started to pick up a bit and some nutty flavors in the taste. This was constant till the end of the smoke. Plenty of smoke and the taste were what I like. I’m sure there are some smokes available at this price that are a bit better but have been a fan of these little guys’s for years. If you’ve not tried one, give it a whirl and see if you think the same as I do.
85
Pre-Light---This smoke looks very nice with a Nice Brown wrapper that had one prominent vein running on one side opposite the Torano wrapper. There was a slight sheen to the wrapper also. The roll was great and had a tight feel. I cut the cap and the draw was very good. Taste--The draw gave me hints of wood. From the start this is appearing to be a medium smoke that is light with taste of a creamy, woodsy start. This was pretty much all I was getting through the entire cigar until I got to the last third that I picked out some peppery spice, but not that intense smooth and creamy like the cigar is.. The ash and burn were very nice and had no problems. Over all this was a nice smoke that would be great at any time of the day.
85
I am a fan of this line just from their appearance. The black was not as nice a look as the Red but was still a compact, nice looking cigar.I'm a fan of the Habano wrapper that are on the reds. The wrapper had a little oily sheen to it. It has a great looking cocoa like wrapper. I cut the cap and had a peppery or tingling to the tip of the tongue. It cut very clean and the scent from the foot was of wood and cedar. The pre-draw was slightly restricted and hope after it is lit that would free up. After the torch it really was a nice morning smoke with a cup of coffee. It was spicy and full of smoke. The flavor was intense at the half way mark that picked up as a full bodied cigar with the combination of spice, slight leather and cocoa that is present at the last third of the smoke. No problem with the lighting and the burn was great. I take my time with cigars with this flavor profile so as not to get any harsh taste. I recommend trying this. The pepper, spice is really good. I like this cigar but I am more of a fan of the Reds. I would also recommend this be smoked on a full stomach also.
90
Pre-Smoke---The wrapper looks very clean with a few veins present. The light brown color was even. The roll and tight wrapper was very good. The smell of earth and tobacco was present and the foot has a slight woodsy and cedar smell. The ban was clean and looked great on this cigar also. Taste—cut the cap and a very clean cut that gave off a taste of tobacco on the tip of my tongue. The draw is very good and clear with a very slight tug from it. The earthy and cedar taste were present before lighting. I lit the cigar in the same manner as I do with all and was perfect. My first taste was of slight cedar and earth. It had sweetness to it but was not as noticeable as the leather and woodsy taste after the half way mark. It was a great ash that was light grey. It held on nicely almost to the ½ way mark also. The strength started as a mild/medium smoke that picked up to a full cigar over all. Very good in strength, draw, taste and burn. Overall I would rate this as a good cigar and would recommend to people just stating out and for the well seasoned as a nice relaxing smoke.
92
I was gifted a whole box of these smokes and must say thank you to the one and only BigFoot aka 9.5. for the awesome gift----Thank You Brian. This cigar really is a master piece and a work of art when it comes to what a cigar should look like. The wrapper was a very dark chocolate sweet looking wrapper. On to the cigar---I have many of these smokes and from one to the next are perfect in every way. One of the largest torpedo’s and one the the best draws, burns and tasting smokes there is. The price is a bit pricey and if they were to have a drop in price they would move like wilder beast in Africa under attack by a cheetah. Wrapper was oily, tightly rolled and stellar. I always get more flavors form one to the next but stay within the same flavor profile. After the snipping of the head I torch er up to get some taste of spice and leather. Very Mild to start and the smoke is just right. After a few more draws I start to get some coffee and cocoa that really pick up the intensity of the cigar. This was constant and near the last third there was an overwhelming taste of pepper, leather and cocoa that rounded this bad boy very nice at the end. Can’t get enough of these.
86
The appearance of the wrapper was of dark chocolate and a very prominent vein. The smell of coffee I noticed while inspecting the smoke. It clipped very nice and tasted a slight tingling in the tongue with taste of black pepper. The draw was slightly restricted and the taste was of coffee and spice was great. As I torched this cigar I can tell the scent of coffee and a woodsy / earthy smell. It was a mild to medium cigar threw the first ½ and enjoyed the feeling I got off of this smoke. As I entered the ½ way mark it really picked up very nice with some peppery, spiciness that was awesome. With the wrapper burning straight as an arrow I was very impressed with how this was going, very good taste. I have to say that the cigar performed as I expected from the look. It was a Med. to Full cigar with some peppery, spicy and earthy taste. The cigar was a more than adequate smoke and it taste very good. This along with many of the CAO line is in my normal rotation and I like to see them mature with age. I also would rate this as a Great Cigar.
87
Presmoke—The wrapper looked aged well and kind of rustic if you will. Had a little shaggy foot that looks like will help light this thing well. The smell was of cedar. The color was constant also. I snipped the cap and was a very nice clean cut. The draw was of again cedar and some tobacco taste. Slight tingling to the tip of the tongue that got my senses going. It was a very nice draw and the feel was just a little loose. Nothing bad, all good. Taste---After the light the first taste of cedar and some nice tobacco flavors to start. After smoking for about a 30 minute period the taste of pepper and spice pick up and tons of smoke to boot. No problems with heat or taste going bad. It was very constant threw and threw. I would say this is a Medium smoke with a nice cedar and spicy smoke. Great with the morning cup of coffee .I have to say for the cost of this cigar it was not bad at all. It was my first and was gifted it to see what my thought where on it. This would be a great cigar to use in a blind review. I have no idea how much humi time this had but need to check and see. As I looked to purchase a few,I read that the wrappers are aged for 5 years .Not a bad cigar.

Pre-smoke Scent of Wrapper: Cedar Scent at Foot: Earthy and slight pepper Appearance: Not a bad looking smoke Wrapper: Very nice brown wrapper with a double band that made it interesting Feel: Firm Tongue: Earthy, wood & cedar maybe some slight hints of leather Flavor on Draw: I tasted a little cocoa maybe some more cedar Smoke Taste: Better than Indian Tobac but was not what I would have expected. Flavor Changes: Pretty constant 2/3 through and picked up a bit at the end.. Strength: I would say a constant medium with sometimes getting a fuller taste Feeling: From the look of this and the prelate I was expecting something more powerful and was a bit let down. Was still an O K smoke Scent of Smoke: Did not really notice Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: NO Draw: Easy and clear draw Finish: Half way through I noticed some coffee again and the last 1/3 picked up with the pepper and spice that did not last (very little) Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: From the look and feel I thought I was in for a treat and as I said was not in for a let down .I would recommend this line to someone starting out but not to my seasonal friends. Make any notes beyond what you noted already I am very fond of the R P Ole World Reserve and this lie was in no way near that caliber. Though it was an O K smoke it really did not tell me to hurry and get some more. I did enjoy it a bit more than the Torpedo I smoked if that helps.
92
A pre-light draw has a strong sweet chocolate taste, with a hint of something nutty. These all lit easily and had gobs of thick smoke. The chocolate I noticed before I lit it was there from the start. I think the nutty taste that is coming through is actually more like nutmeg than nuts. About a third of the way in I also started picking up a sweet coffee smell and taste. All flavors got stronger as I smoked, and the final third was outstanding. These have aged very well. Pick them up if you see a deal on them and you won't be disappointed.
86
Very nice looking wrapper but did have a few veins that was a concern from the start. I also notice a color difference in the wrapper and wondered why this was. Maybe not enough time to ferment before a rush to get them out or something. The scent of cedar, earth was present after I snipped the cap. The tip of the tongue gave me just a taste of tobacco. The taste after the draw I picked up some earth and wood and a slight sweetness about it. After I lit the cigar and had a few draws there were no draw problems and the taste of pepper started. It went back to the taste of a sweet earthy and woodsy smoke. This was present from start to finish. The burn was a bit off and touched it up a couple of times. The ash was O K but with the burn issues all I could see was it was light grey. I have one more of this blend and will see if anything changes after it has time in the box. It was not a bad cigar but a decent one. I would rate this as a good cigar.

PRE-SMOKE Scent of wrapper: Spice and chocolate. Scent at foot: Spice and a slight earthy, woodsy taste. Wrapper: Sweet looking fine vein wrapper. Looked like a piece of chocolate. Feel: Not as tight as it appeared but was OK. Tongue: A bit of earth and wood flavor—can’t put my taste buds on it. Flavor on draw: Some coffee and woodsy taste. SMOKE Flavor: Sweet taste of cocoa and with a slight taste of cedar. It did pick up a bit more intense but not like I would have expected. Very good taste I like it. Strength: This is a Medium to Full cigar. Burn: This was very nice and it held very well about 2 inches each time. The draw w Scent of Smoke: Tobacco. Heat on fingers/Mouth: None Draw: Very nice and easy draw from start to finish. Finish: I enjoyed the taste of cocoa and spice but was looking for something to change but stayed this way. It to me was a good cigar but expected more for the money. Not bad just below what I expected.
95
PRE-SMOKE Scent of wrapper: Lots of spice and peppery. Scent at foot: Cedar and leather. Wrapper: Very presentable wrapper, great feel and look. Nice sheen to the awesome brown color—not to be alarmed by the very slight veining. Feel: Very good feel. Tongue: Tingling and a slight taste of pepper. Flavor: Cedar, leather and spicy pepper—all of my favorites. SMOKE Strength: Now we are talking –this started with allot of pepper and spice form the get go. I also picked up what I think was cocoa but was nothing like the spice/pepper. Nice combination. Burn: Very nice even burn and the draw was impeccable. The ash held on for dear life and was a solid gray. Scent of Smoke: Tobacco Heat on fingers/Mouth: None Draw: Great. Finish: This is a full flavored smoke that will keep you interested all the way to the end. Very nice blending and everything about it was great. Do not smoke this on an empty stomach as it will take away all the great aspects of this cigar. Glad I torched this when I did after a full meal. I would rate this as a excellent cigar and would diffidently recommend for anyone to try again on a full stomach.

Pre-Smoke Scent of Wrapper: Some very nice spice. Scent at Foot: More of the spice and tobacco smell Appearance: Some slight veining and nice oily sheen also. Wrapper looked very good. Feel: Firm feeling and packed at the foot. Tongue: A slight tingling to the tip of the tongue with a nice after taste. Flavor on Draw: Woodsy, spicy and tobacco taste all were present. The draw had a bit of a tug but not tight. Smoke Taste: A very smooth mild taste of spice that was the same for a minute and was in anticipation of more to come. Strength: Mild to Medium Burn was very nice and the burn line was very nice. The ash held together very well also and was a marble look of light gray and dark grey. Scent of Smoke: Nothing out of the ordinary just smoke to me.. Heat on Fingers and Mouth: No signs of heat and took this to the nub hope I would pick up more flavor changes but would not get there for me. Finish: Nothing great here and the spice was a level taste through the end. Not great. Other Aspects of this Cigar: I was not a happy camper on this smoke and from the look I thought I would be in for a treat—disappointed on this one—Sorry! Just an O K smoke is the best rating I could give.

The Artisan is one of the most beautiful cigars I have seen. A triple wrapped beauty over 7 inches long with the girth to match. It is tightly wrapped with few veins present and the barber pole stripes are even from tip to tip. It is easy lighting, even burning, and produces copious amounts of rich white smoke. I have a hard time tasting flavors that others say they detect but I can say it was strong. The nicotine left my lips tingling and half way through I could hardly stand up straight. I don't like nicotine buzzes and this cigar gave me one of my worst buzzes ever. Two-thirds the way through I cried uncle and chucked the rest of it, and chucking any of a $20 cigar is not something I considered lightly. Normally I rate cigars that are way too strong for me pretty low since I am not likely to buy them again, but this cigar is such an eye catcher and is rolled so perfectly I had to get another box just to have on hand. In this cigar's case, even though I will likely never smoke another I cannot rate it lower than I have. It is a perfect testimonial to the rollers skill and worthy of any cigar smoker's collection. And if you like strong cigars, this could well be one of your favorites.

I have had only a few of these maybe a 1/2 box and always enjoy this line. The wrapper and appearance are stellar with only a few small veins.Could not wait to set fire to it. After the snip I noticed a slight tingling of the tongue and the draw had a bit of a tug to it—pretty nice. It smells of tobacco and could not wait to get her going. After roasting the foot I pick out a few scents. Some nice cedar & something like burn oak. The taste started out with some earth and hints of leather. Noticed the earth leaving and the leather and spice started to pick up. My burn started wondering a bit and had to get it back on track. The ash was of marble white and dark gray. There are a couple of taste I can not put my taste buds on. It had me searching the list not flowery but kind of—maybe! I can say near the last 1/3 it really picked up the leather, pepper and spice. This is a great cigar and who else could mix the tobacco better than Pete Johnson and Pepin. I would highly recommend this to anyone. You can catch them at a good price if you look around. Might not be in this size but at least you can try it and you won’t regret it. I had some time on this smoke and don’t understand the slight burn issue I had but it worked itself out and still was a enjoyable smoke.

Like everyone the first impression with an expensive cigar to me is the look, feel and of coarse the price. These were some I traded for and got like 10-15 each for a very good trade. So I have had a few and wanted to let a few rest to see if my opinion would change. The color of the wrapper was very clean with no veining and the smell was very good, and the shape was one of my favorites. I snipped the head and tasted some slight hints of sweetness at the tip of my tongue. The tobacco was packed and the draw was just right. I started this with an even torch and it started burning very nice. White ash and very even. The first taste that came to mind was a coffee. Not sure if the coffee I was drinking with this helped in my first impression or not we will see. So as this smoke started getting lit real good and man the taste of spice that was creamy was really nice. I felt this would start to pick up and it did. It started to have taste of a creamy, nutty taste with some spice in the background. It really packed a punch while in the home stretch with all of the flavors above and my head was stating to sway. I could not believe this was coming from this cigar with its light tantalizing wrapper. But it did. Now for the price of this cigar it is a bit pricy and not that they are bad but an excellent cigar. To me it would be more in the $10-$15 dollar range. An excellent smoke but a bit pricey.

The look of the cigar was appealing with the ban really presenting this as one of Rocky’s premier lines. I looked over the wrapper and was not a bad wrapper but looked to be a little light in color to me. I snipped the head and tasted it and was no more that a woodsy taste. I was wondering if this was what it was cut out to be. So the draw was fine and torched the foot and smells some woodsy scent. My first draw was of cedar and maybe oak and really could not pick up anything else at this point. So onward I go and really no changes until I get about the half way mark that there were some faint hints of tobacco only. It did start to get a bit harsh and had to put it down in disappointment. I was really disappointed with this cigar as from the look I thought the taste would have more than just a cigar taste. It was not a bad cigar but as I stated I was expecting much more for the price and the name on the cigar. So with no further a do I would rate this as an O K cigar and would recommend for someone that is new to cigars to try. Sorry Rocky but this one was not a good one for me. To mild and no flavors that would get me coming back for more-

The appearance of the wrapper was of dark chocolate and a very prominent vein in the wrapper.

The appearance of the wrapper and size of this cigar was very nice with the cedar wrapper protecting this bad boy was an extra in my book. Very nice wrapper with some slight veining and the smell of the cedar got my taste buds going. I clipped it and from the draw I felt this was one of my favorite tastes of cedar and spice. The draw was perfect. After heating the foot on, the cigar tossed out some very nice floral scent and this was actually a smoke I was able to smell this. The cedar, creamy and spicy taste really started at the ½ way mark and was a very good taste after waiting for it to change. The burn and ash were excellent and the taste of cedar, spice and a slight hint of leather made this one of the nicest smokes that I really enjoy. It is a Mild to Medium cigar with plenty of smoke. I would rate this at a very good cigar and would recommend to everyone to try.

I've had this for nearly 3 years. Draw was perfect, never died and ash was a near blinding white. It was a medium strength cigar with a sweet kick at the end. Well worth the wait, but they're great regardless of age.

Very nice cigar, moderate veins, easy to light and even burning. The taste was very mild with no nicotine buzz. The ash held firmly until flicked and was a long one hour fifteen minute smoke. The cigar had very little smoke which is not a plus in my book and it had an after taste which lasted over night. For me those were the only deductions from a perfect smoke. While it did not have an unpleasant after taste, I prefer none. I enjoyed this cigar a lot but my favorite (Nub Connecticut) still holds the top place for me.

Quite an exquisite little cigar. Very nicely wrapped barber pole. Having roughly the same shape as the Short Story, this one packs a lot more of a punch, at least to me. It has a moderate flavor that I cannot really identify but is very pleasant. There is a good amount of smoke, few veins in the wrapper, easy to light and burns evenly. The only thing that kept it from scoring a 100 was it really kicked my tail and for that much money, I would have to have enjoyed it more to rate it any higher. Half way through I had a strong nicotine buzz going which I do not like but I'll be darned if I'll throw away a $17.00 cigar. I bought my son a box of them and he loves them, scoring them a 100, but if not for the cost I would have tossed it half way through. I'm glad he really likes them because I won't smoke another.

A quick pre-smoke sniff gives off a mild tobacco smell with a hint of cocoa. These babies have a great medium brown wrapper with a few small veins. All 4 lit easily, and put off loads of thick, rich smoke. I didn't have any burn issues with any of them. The most noticable taste in this line is chocolate and an extremely rich leathery taste. As I smoked hints of cocoa also faded in and out. Towards the middle of the cigar I noticed a starbucks-like (burnt?) coffee taste appear. Near the nub the tastes got stronger with the burnt coffee being the most pronounced. These are jsut the right size for my lunchtime smoke at work. If you are looking for a tasty lunchtime smoke give these a try. As always, the MSRP is too high so when you can get them for a deal jump on it.
83
The wrapper very nice dark sweet looking and the packed tobacco was a treat in itself. The pre-draw was flawless and the first draw was amazingly sweet and fresh taste of earth and was looking forward to getting this cigar going. This smoke was very intense and the spices were very good. It was however a pleasant taste of a creamy chocolate that really packed a punch with the spices picking up. Drinking my morning cup of coffee really paired well with this also. I think this will be one of the best morning smokes in this case. The ash and burn at this point were doing well not as I anticipated because of the line not holding as straight as I would have expected but still no touch ups. .If you retro inhale you will note more spice and a woodsy taste at the ½ way point. I was picking up allot of pepper when doing this at the start. At the end I noticed some hints of leather, some pepper still prominent and a creamy finish.. A very nice Maduro with some very nice flavors for your senses to have some fun with.I found this to be much like the regular V's with the maddy wrapper giving it that extra touch. I don't think the $$$ was appropriate and for this price I expected much more. Still a Good Cigars. I would rate this as an good cigar.

Scent of Wrapper: Sweet Scent at Foot: Leather Appearance: Nice looking size and color Wrapper: It had some thin veins running through it and the volor of the light brown wrapper was pleasing Feel: Consistent firm feel Tongue: Leathery / Bitter Flavor on Draw: Sweet sugar taste Smoke Taste: Sweet cedar, very slight hints of pepper Flavor Changes: A sweet sugar taste that picked up with hints of cedar, wood and slight notes of spice. Strength: Medium Feeling: Very smooth tasting cigar and was a little sweeter than my last. With the Corojo wrapper it was a smoother smoke that I was not expecting with this wrapper. The flaking was present during the burn of the wrapper. It was a very good cigar that I can’t wait to check the changes after a year or so in the box. Scent of Smoke: Really could not notice Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: None Draw: Great draw Finish: Very consistent flow of sweet, slight leather and cedar taste throughout the cigar with subtle notes of nuts at the finish. Very enjoyable smoke. Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: It was not as full as I had anticipated but was still a very well made and pleasant cigar. Make any notes beyond what you noted already I think with some age on these they will probably pick up the flavor profile more after they have some time in the box. That being said I enjoy this cigar and would recommend them to others to try I would rate this cigar as a “Good Cigar.”

First I gut say I really enjoy this cigar. Nice looking wrapper and appearance is an all around great look.A very nice milk chocolate wrapper with a small amount of veining. I can smell the hints of Cocoa from head to toe on this cigar. After a trimming I torch it real nice and take a draw that was very clean with no obstruction. The flavor is of Chocolate, and spice, both of my favorites. As I hit the middle of this smoke I start getting a more peppery, leather taste that got my senses going again. The ash holding very well at this point and the burn line is very good also. Some cedar was present at the end and with the combination of cedar, pepper and leather it really rounded out this very good smoke. The smoke was intense and again this is one of my favorite go to smokes. The price is a bit much from $9-$10 each, but only smoke them I have time to enjoy them. Very good smoke.

Another hit from Rocky Patel - the Olde World Reserve. This one had a heavier aroma than the others I rated even though it was from the same box and has been resting for the same amount of time. Nice toothy wrapper with some veining. It lit easily but this one needed constant repairing. It got to be a pain. Still gives out loads of thick, creamy smoke, with an earthy taste, but this one has a slight harshness to it. Lots of cocoa with a slight hint of chocolate. I can't understand why this one tastes a little different than the others and why this one had burn problems. I hope it isn't a quality control issue. This is a good example of why you can't judge a batch by a single stick. If I would have started with this one I may have thought differently about them. Overall tasty, but don't pay the ridiculous full price.
90
These babies have a dark tan toothy wrapper with no large veins. A quick pre-light sniff gave off a very subtle sweet tobacco smell. Upon lighting I noticed a mix of creamy cocoa and hints of citrus. It made me constantly lick my lips. But this wasn't sweet cap glue causing this (cheap trick), it was the tobacco. A chocolate-like taste also faded in and out as I continued to smoke. The blend of tastes was very satisfying. When I reached the half-way point bitterness began to creep into the flavor mix. This tells me that these sticks need some rest time to reach their full potential. I had to try one but it was way too soon. The finish was light and short lived. Overall these are another great cigar from RP. If you like the usual RP flavor profile pick up a few and give them some rest time. You won't be disappointed.
92
Someone gifted me this NUB. They said it had been resting for about 6 months. The pre-light sniff gave off a creamy aroma making me want to light it up. It was easily lit, and put off thick, rich smoke. I immediately noticed a creamy cocoa flavor. Very nice. After a few minutes a leather hint appeared, followed by an earthy tone. The cocoa was still there but not as pronounced. This cigar had no harshness at all, which may be due to the rest time before smoking. It took almost an hour to smoke. A very nice smoke, but not the 'end all' it was hyped to be. I would say that anyone who likes a creamy cocoa-type flavor profile should try a NUB.
93
The cigar is one of my favorite go to smokes. The color of the Habano wrapper is toothy, spicy and sweet looking all wrapped into one small Robusto smoke. The wrapper is clean and no prominent veins were present also. I really like the look of this cigar as you can tell. The main thing I like about this cigar is the draw, taste and burn. The draw is flawless and the taste of spice hit my pallet during the pre-light. No any problems with the burn. It was as straight as straight could be. After heating this smoke the first draw was filled with spice and a sweet taste. Diffidently a full bodied smoke that has my senses moving this morning with my cup of joe. The pepper picked up and my nostrils were on fire. What a very nice cigar. Some slight hints of cocoa were present from ½ ways thru the end. I would highly recommend anyone to give this size and smoke a go. You will not be disappointed.
83
Very nicely rolled cigar that ha s a very appealing look. Some slight vexing also present. The draw and pre-light taste were very nice with some taste of cocoa. The draw being very clean with a slight tug as I ready for the cigar. After lighting the burn and draw were very nice, the ash also was just right. The taste of spice was very present and the hints of coca coming still present. Not sure but there was another taste, maybe leather I guess but was not a prominent as the spice and cocoa, If that makes any since. It produces plenty of smoke and was an enjoyable smoke. I would say this is a good cigar that was mild to medium with limited taste available. For the price I could find others that are better.
82
The look and feel was O K but nothing fantastic, just O K.--Look and appearance of the wrapper Very small veins, well aged and somewhat dry. Had a rustic look about it and thought it had aged well in the box. Scent of unlit cigar wrapper and foot -Mild tobacco Flavors upon first draw and other--- smooth draw with a hint of pepper. Good smooth draw with allot of smoke. Not a bad burn, pretty good. Slight roasted nuts with a little allspice undertone and mild tobacco flavor throughout. No real changes at any point, although got a very little bit more spice in the last part of the cigar..
87
Pre-smoke Scent of Wrapper: Grassy Scent at Foot: Cedar Appearance: A few veins with a slight oily sheen Wrapper: Very nice Corojo wrapper with an oily look and small veins throughout cigar Feel: Firm Tongue: Leathery Flavor on Draw: Earthy with hints of cedar Smoke Taste: Slight pepper, smooth vanilla Flavor Changes: The flavor was constant throughout the entire cigar except near the nub I picked up a little more vanilla Strength: I would say a Medium smoke. Feeling: For the price of this line you can’t go wrong. I was a little apprehensive when think of trying it but will not hesitate to recommend someone to try. Scent of Smoke: I really could not notice anything. Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: None Draw: Starting out with this shape I thought it would be just find and it was a great draw. Finish: This smoked picked up slightly and started tasting more wood, nuts and earthy.the leather was starting to fade. Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: The burn, draw, construction and taste of this smoke were all very good. Make any notes beyond what you noted already The only down point of the cigar is that there were only a few thousand made and when they run out they will be gone. This is my understanding. What a shame. I may have to get a box and let them rest. I would rate this cigar as a “Very Good Cigar.”

Pre-smoke Scent of Wrapper: Cedar Scent at Foot: Tobacco Appearance: Nice size smoke, well rolled Wrapper: Clean looking wrapper with some small veining Feel: Firm Tongue: Bitter Flavor on Draw: Earthy and very clean draw Smoke Taste: Earthy and tobacco taste Flavor Changes: A light ammonia that changed quickly to a leathery, woodsy taste form the 1/2 way mark till the end Strength: Mid to start with a Medium finish—I liked it OK Feeling: A nice mellow, medium smoke that was enjoyable with the early morning cup of coffee. Pleased with the burn, smoke and smell of this cigar. Scent of Smoke: Tobacco Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: None Draw: Very easy draw Finish: Picked up more taste of leather and cedar that continued till the end Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: I usually enjoy a larger ring and this ring was not bad. This was an enjoyable smoke that was pleasant with the feel, taste and scent from the cigar. Make any notes beyond what you noted already I like the size for a quick smoke especially during the winter months. For the price it was to bad.Would of enjoyed it to be a little fuller though. I would rate this cigar as a “Good Cigar.”

To start this cigar was a pleasant looking cigar –looking like a nice piece of dark chocolate in color with no bad veins, etc. Very clean and easy draw. Tasted an earthy chocolate taste from the draw and from the first light. Something tells me I will enjoy this one as much as I did the 80th. After the first third the second started to pick up notes of coffee with some more of the cocoa and chocolate rounding out this awesome cigar. I also picked up some very slight hints of leather but nothing like I did the Cocoa, & Coffee. Had not one problem with the burn and was great all the way to the nub. I would rate this as an excellent cigar and notch under the 80th. I would only smoke this type of cigar on special occasions because they are a bit pricey. I would rate this as a 93. Very good smoke.

Cigar: Padron 1926 Serie 40th Anniversary To start this cigar was a pleasant looking cigar –looking like a nice piece of dark chocolate in color with no bad veins, etc. Very clean and easy draw. Cigar: Padron 1926 Serie 40th Anniversary Appearance & Construction (19/20): There are two sides to this box pressed cigar. On the top and bottom the cigar is silky smooth with a few oil showing on the natural wrapper. The sides of the box press reveal a different look, one that is quite toothy with many bumps and ridges. The label features the classic look Padron 1926 Serie, with a secondary band denoting “40 Years”. The cigar has a nice weight, no soft spots, and a perfect pre-light draw. Flavor & Notes (29/30): The prelight draw reveals notes of earth and a touch of chocolate. As we continue smoking the first third, notes of cocoa and coffee develop both of which are extremely pleasing to the palette. The second third continues to be a journey of rich cocoa and pleasing spices that are incredibly pleasing to the palette that is quickly making this one of the best cigars I have ever smoked. As we reach the final third of our journey cocoa remains with some coffee and leather notes. Burn/Ash/Draw (24/25): The ash is medium gray in color and it reveals little magnesium pimples as well which is very common for a Padron cigar. The draw can be described with just one word, “Fantastic”. The thing that prevents this section from being perfect is the wavy burn line which I did not expect for a cigar in the price range despite it being box pressed. Overall (22/25): The price of this smoke brings down the rating some but despite the number this is one of the best cigars I ever smoked. It is easy to see how it once won cigar of the year. While too pricey to be an every day smoke, this cigar deserves to be in your repertoire for special occasions. Rating: 94 Price: $25.00 a stick at Cigars Direct

Ahhh, this is one sweet cigar. Only available from Havana Connections in Richmond VA, it is specially made for them by Rocky Patel. It comes packaged in glass tubes, 10 to a box and named after the Shocko Valley (Bottom) region in Richmond VA, where HC is mostly located. It is a tightly rolled cigar, mild pleasant smell, with few veins. It has a slightly sweet flavor, almost as if it were a flavored cigar but it is not. It lights easily and burns even and has a good amount of smoke with little after taste. Even though it seems rolled tight, the ash falls very easily and if not careful, a mess is easy to make. I did not like this aspect of the cigar. Body is mild with no bite, start to finish.
67
Beautiful cigar with a light smell. Veins seen but not prominent. Lots of smoke, easy to light, and a good even burn. Why the low score? I'm a woose and it is way too strong for me. Half way through I was toting a heavy nicotine buzz and called it quits. I very pretty cigar and a great collection piece, but I dare not smoke one again.
87
Very easy to light and burns was very even with good amount of smoke. It was very mild with a cool draw, but had a slight ash taste that lingered for hours after smoking. It was a very nice smoke and had no nicotine buzz. If not for the ash after taste it would have scored a couple of points higher.

From my favorite brand Rocky Patel comes the Olde World Reserve. A pre-light sniff gives a tasty chocolate aroma. The toothy wrapper is oily to the touch. Easily lit, and burned to the nub without any need for 'repairs'. These give out loads of thick, creamy smoke, with an earthy taste. I also noticed hints of cocoa and spice, and of course chocolate. I would say they are a full bodied smoke and not for beginners. If you can get a deal on them they are well worth trying.
92
The more I smoke these the better I like them. The toothy, dark brown wrapper has few veins and looks good enough to eat. It has thick, rich smoke, with the immediate taste of spice and cocoa. After the first third an occasional vanilla note develops. I didn't notice the vanilla with the first one I smoked. Could it be that only a few weeks at 65% humidity improved them? In the final third the flavor is stronger, but there is still no harshness. An earthy taste also develops. Similar to the earthy taste you get from the Vintage 90 line. I have to make it a point not to continually choose this stick for my daily smoke. It would be easy to do. If you can get them at a discount it is well worth getting a box, but at full price you may just want to pick up a couple to test out. I like them and I'm glad I picked up a box.
89
Again, this is one of my fav's - an inexpensive cigar with some kick. Good draw and construction wasn't bad either. It died once about 5/8 into it and lost a little bit of its flair, but still good enough to smoke near the nub. Recommend if you like some spice in your cigar plus it goes really good with Captain Morgan's Private Stock.
91
I purchased a box of 10 glass tubed Exclusivo from JR's because they were just over $3 each to my front door. When a Perdomo is $3 each I have to try them. These babies have a beautiful dark brown toothy wrapper that is oily to the touch. In the pre-light sniff I noticed only a very mellow tobacco smell. It lit easily, and had no burn issues. When I began smoking it I noticed a light creamy taste with hints of mocha and cocoa. These flavors remained all the way through, got slightly stronger near the middle, and remained that way until I nubbed it. It was like drinking a cup of coffee that had been diluted with mocha flavored cream. Very light and very smooth. This cigar proves that you don't need a strong stick to get great flavors. If you like mild, flavorful smokes check them out. You won't be disappointed.

The Cuban Montecristo is known to be erratic in quality. Usually you will find 4 or 5 in every box that are either plugged or burn horribly. That being said they are one of the richest cc's out there. They are also known to need a minimum of one year down time before smoking. I couldn't wait another 11 months to try one, which is unfair because they need that time to mellow. I'm sure my future review will rate these babies at greater than a 90. The have a beautiful chocolate brown wrapper with small veins. In my pre-light smell I could detect an earthy tone. They light fairly easily, and the first few draws told me I should have let them age because it was so powerful I almost put it down. It mellowed quickly and gave way to a smoother earthy taste with hints of pepper every so often. After the half-way point the pepper was more prominent and it included an occasional hint of cedar. I smoked it as far down as I could before nubbing it. Overall I would recommend these to anyone who likes reasonably priced, tasty cc's. But plan on aging them before enjoying them.

Pre-Smoke: I have recently become a fan of the Lancero size. This cigar has a very nice wrapper, A few veins that caused concerns but with the look of a dark piece of chocolate and a woodsy smell, it seems everything would be just fine. After clipping the Cuban style cap pigtail the draws seem at first that the draw would be a problem but soon after the light it was just the opposite. Sweet vanilla, wood and spice hit my taste buds immediately. I really enjoy all of the spices from the start. Smoke: Many notes of spices after lighting the cigar.. Nuts, cinnamon and Leather where prominent in the taste and smell of the cigar. When approaching the 2nd. Half of the cigar there was a slight hint of vanilla and cinnamon and both spices really picked up the intensity of the cigar and the taste of Chocolate and Leather. The burn was excellent during the entire cigar. No problems with heat, just all a great smoking cigar. At the end of this cigar the flavors of chocolate, leather intensified and can not wait to torch another. All of the flavors and spices were in my flavor range and profile. Overall: My overall impressions of this cigar are very positive. The cigar is constructed very well and proved itself as the burn was flawless. I did have a couple of re-lights as I was doing this review due to my typing and smoking it. This did not take away from my over all rating and feelings, taste and impressions of this smoke. The flavors were all within my flavor profile as stated above and really enjoyed this cigar very much. I am a big Pete Johnson fan and really enjoy his dedication to producing his cigars. I would love to check this cigar out after a year or so of age on them. I was gifted this stick for Christmas and have to say it was all I had expected and more. This is why I feel Pete Johnson will go far in this industry as he already has in my opinion. You will never be displeased with anything he puts his name on. I look forward to the larger rings if they do come out. I think the price could be better and in hopes that this will soon be a priority of his. On another point I would request that the new lines not be in limited production and was wondering why this is becoming a trend. .
90
very tasty looks and feel were excellent. Cut great but was a little tight on the draw all the way through. Would have been a winner if the draw was a little looser.
94
This cigar was delicious. I can't say anything more.GREAT flavor, burn and the taste was outstanding. Gonna buy more for sure.
70
Pre-smoke Scent of Wrapper: Green peppercorn Scent at Foot: Peppery Wrapper: Very little veins thru the cigar Feeling: Nice tight feel with a slight tug on the draw but not bad—I like the draw.. Tongue: Peppery, Earthy and Slight Tingly Flavor on Draw: Earthy Smoke Taste: Peppery-Right from the start it was pretty nice with hints of pepper, spice and a slight taste of cedar. Building as I smoked from a Med. to Full bodied cigar. Flavor Changes: Lots of pepper and further into the cigar it started getting spicier. Also french inhaled this smoke. It was stronger at first then when I got to the ½ way mark it smooth out. Strength: Med. / Full Scent of Smoke: Could not put any notes on this part. Heat on Fingers and in Mouth: Nothing during 1st. half but near the 2/3 is when the heat picked up with my mouth and nose. Draw: Very nice smooth / loose draw Finish: Problems with the burn and will let the other rest a bit before torching it. I think it needs some time to rest and at a lower R.H... Other Aspects of the Cigar Smoking Experience: Very good cigar and not a bad smoke. I thought it was an OK cigar but had some problems with the burn. Not sure if that was due to the resting time. I will see if the other one is different after a few months at 70* / 68 R.H.
95
Bar none, my favorite cigar. The closest to cuban that I have had. Just my opinion though.
88
Good everyday cigar. First box I bought. Age well.
92
Good cigar. Should have let it sit in the humidor for a while. At times had a bitter taste. But overall good.
85
A fantastic cigar for the money, definitely box worthy. Mild to medium..similar to an Ashton Maduro Which are my all time favorites
90
Great!

This is one of the Nestor's before Don Pepin started rolling it. It had a very loose draw, but not too annoying for me. It had a bit of spice with a very mellow, mild-medium smoke. Died on me once but picked up with no prob. The cigar was alright, wasn't great but wasn't a bad smoke either. Did have it aging for some time though. Could explain the smoothness with the spice.
82
Nice looking cigar but not a whole lot of flavors. Very mild and sweet and the burn was near perfect. A good morning cigar while having a cup of coffee and reading the Sunday paper.
89
This perfect little petite measures 4.3 x 44 and is a lovely cigar. The pre-smoke is nice with a perfect wrap and wonderful smell. The first flavors were very smooth, not over powering and were mostly nutty with a nice taste of milky cream. I was loving this cigar in the second part of the smoke when coco formed and tastes of woods and spicy leather. It still held its creamy taste until the last stage where it became stronger and more of a clean spice taste which isn't my favorite. At the very end, the coco came back with medium strength and then ended with a cedar clean finish. This was a great cigar, but in my opinion it isn't worth the price of $14+.
77
Great looks and good taste make this an enjoyable smoke. Excellent draw, but marred by the need to make small touch ups from time to time. Not quite as enjoyable as the La Fuerza. But a cigar I would buy again readily.
87
This was my News Years smoke, and what a great choice it was. This one had it all- easy light, perfect draw, even burning, and the taste- well, I still remembered what it tasted like on New Years Day! It didn't have many flavors going on, but it just seemed like it was better that way. The best word I can use to desribe it would be "full". Not so much full-bodied, but a full taste. A lot of earthiness, and the smoke was very smooth. A great cigar to begin the New Year with!
80
Lit easy and had a great draw. The first 1/3 had a strong but not overpowering spiciness, and ample hints of nuts, especially when exhaled through the nose and mouth. It lost the nuttiness and most of the spiciness towards the end of the second 1/3, but the spiciness picked back up until the end.
50
Wouldn't smoke another.
